Noosa

Thurs., March 3- Thanks to Jane & Trevor's excellent advise we headed back a bit north to explore the Noosa National Park and beaches.  I hope they have rooms to rent in their home because we are moving in ..... Absolutely beautiful!  Probably our favourite area so far.    Now we know why they moved here!!!





The walking tracks above the shore in the National Park are unbelievable and the soft sand beach spectacular ..... however, unfortunately, it was time to move on.  
























Heading south we stopped along the Gold Coast at Currumbin for lunch and then headed to Byron Bay which was a too busy backpacker area.





We kept going and stopped  in Ballina at a beautiful park between Shaws Bay Lake, the ocean and Richmond River.   We put some laundry on and headed to the pool.  Then as the laundry was drying, we headed down to Lighthouse beach and watched some surfers.    We planned to eat dinner outside but just then it began to rain so we had to stay inside and pass the time .... wink, wink, nudge, nudge, do you know what I mean.   Stir fry chicken for dinner .... leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
