Last day in Sydney

Today we went to the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout.  It is an observation deck  on the south pylon of the bridge.  It also contains history and engineering of the build.  This visit was included in our bridgeclimb package.  Got some good pics of the harbour and the bridge with climbers on it.

Next we went to The Rocks.   This an area of Sydney on the harbour built on rocks .... the convicts cut through this area by hand to build roads and develop the area.  On the weekends they have a market with food and hand made Aussie items.  We were shopping for souvenirs.  Any takers for Roo Balls or Kangaroo Paws?

We've had enough of the city life .... it's time to move on to the next leg of our journey.  Tomorrow we become caravaners.   Oh life on the road!  Should be a great adventure!!

  2. We'll pass on the paws and...are they kangaroo balls? Eww, lol! Thanks anyway. Sounds like quite a whirlwind trip so far! Saw Oprah on TV do that bridge climb last week. She has nothing on you two! Hope your throat is feeling better Tracy. We're enjoying following you on your trip. Take care of yourselves and drive carefully.
