Chinatown

Tracy has had a sore throat since Sunday and it has gotten much worse.  She can hardly swallow.  So we headed to the doctor this morning (Thursday).  There is a clinic right  next to the hotel.  Tracy said... figures, haven't been sick for years and get a throat infection while away.  Only cost $65 to see the doctor and $45 for one week worth of Amoxycillin with a one week repeat to take if it's not better.  Hopefully the drugs will kick in soon.  Glad we have insurance!

Today is the start of the Chinese New Year's celebrations so we headed down to Chinatown.  There were tons of restaurants and lots of little shops and food courts.  We grabbed an order of chicken curry and a large jasmine green tea for $10.  Plenty of food for two and it was really delicious.  Then we headed to Paddy's Market.  It is like a giant flea market and also has fresh produce much less expensive than Woolworths.  We picked up some nice fresh fruit and a few souvenirs.

We stopped by a table where they were carving watermelons....

Tomorrow is our last day in Sydney for a while... We pick up the motorhome Sunday morning..
